These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern all purchases made through sensualsurvival.store (the "Site"), operated by [Your Legal Business Name] ("Sensual Survival," "we," "us"). By placing an order — for ready-made stock or a custom commission — you agree to these Terms.
1. Who we are
Sensual Survival hand-makes paracord goods: leashes, collars, lanyards, pocket lanyards, keychains, and related accessories, sold both as ready-made stock and as custom commissions built to a requested colorway.
2. Ready-made stock vs. custom commissions
Ready-made stock is purchased directly through the shop and paid for in full at checkout.
Custom commissions follow a different process:
- You submit a request describing the item, your color scheme, and any reference images.
- We review your request and send a quote, including a required deposit amount.
- Once the deposit is paid, your order enters production.
- When your piece is complete, any remaining balance is due before it ships or is handed off at a convention.
No payment is collected at the time you submit a custom request — only once a quote has been sent and you choose to pay the deposit.
3. Pricing and payment
All prices are listed in US dollars. Payments are processed securely through Stripe; we do not see or store your full card number. Custom order pricing is quoted individually and may vary based on materials, size, hardware, and complexity.
4. Color, material, and appearance variation
Paracord colors can vary slightly between dye lots, and screen displays render color differently. We do our best to match the colorway you request, but minor variation between a reference photo and the finished piece is expected and is not considered a defect on its own.
5. Order changes and cancellations
Changes to a custom order (colorway, size, item type) can be requested any time before production begins. Once braiding/production has started, changes may require a new quote or may not be possible without starting the piece over. See our Refund Policy for cancellation and refund terms.
6. Turnaround time
Turnaround estimates are provided at the time of quoting and depend on our current queue, the complexity of the piece, and convention travel schedules. Estimates are not guarantees; we'll communicate delays as soon as we're aware of them.
7. Shipping and convention pickup
You're responsible for providing an accurate shipping address. Once an order is handed to the shipping carrier, risk of loss or damage in transit passes to the carrier — see our Refund Policy for how we handle lost or damaged shipments. Local pickup at conventions we're tabling at may be available on request.
8. Intended use
Our products are handmade craft items. Unless a specific item is explicitly marketed and sold as safety-rated equipment, our products are not certified or rated for uses where failure could result in injury — including but not limited to load-bearing restraint, animal control/containment, climbing, or rigging. You are responsible for assessing whether an item is appropriate and safe for your intended use, and for inspecting it periodically for wear. Keep finished items away from young children and pets when unsupervised, due to cord and small-hardware choking hazards.
9. Age requirement
You must be at least 18 years old to place an order or submit a custom request through this Site.
10. Photos and portfolio use
We may photograph finished custom work and feature it in our online gallery, social media, or convention displays for portfolio purposes. We do not share your personal information (name, contact details, address) alongside these photos. If you'd prefer your specific piece not be featured, let us know when you submit your request and we'll leave it out.
11. Intellectual property
Original designs, patterns, and photography on this Site belong to Sensual Survival. Reference images you provide for a custom order are used solely to fulfill that order.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sensual Survival is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or misuse of our products. Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be posted at this page, and continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
